Alliance Oncology Announces Senior Leadership Team Additions and Promotions

NEWPORT BEACH, CA – March 1, 2016 — Alliance Oncology, a division of Alliance HealthCare Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:AIQ), a leading national provider of outsourced healthcare services, announced today three new changes to their senior leadership team.

Alliance Oncology announced that Elizabeth Pace, MHA, has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Operations. Pace has more than 20 years of senior executive healthcare experience and is recognized for her success in developing, launching and growing business for hospital, managed care and ancillary health care services. Pace’s achievements include increased volume and market share across multiple service lines of a $1.3 billion healthcare system, leading business development in managed care startups and providing strategic consulting. Most recently, Pace was the VP of the Oncology Service Line for a nine hospital system where she was responsible for clinically integrating all cancer services including screening, diagnostics, pathology, surgical oncology, medical oncology radiation oncology and all support services. Pace earned a B.S. in Accounting from The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from Xavier University.

In addition to Elizabeth Pace joining the company, Alliance Oncology announced the promotions of Josh Eaves to Senior Vice President of Strategic Partner Development and Acquisitions and Tim Smith to Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Josh Eaves joined Alliance Oncology October 2006 as Vice President of Business Development, where he was responsible for the development of stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) facilities and radiation therapy centers. Prior to joining Alliance, he held a variety of senior business development positions, including Director of Business Development for Neospine, LLC, and Director of Development for e+ Cancercare, LLC. Eaves earned a B.A. in Communications from Vanderbilt University.

Tim Smith joined Alliance Oncology April 2014 as Vice President of Business Development, where he was responsible for the development of radiosurgery facilities and radiation therapy centers. Smith’s healthcare background includes over 25 years of experience in business development, operations and marketing. Prior to joining Alliance, he served as Vice President of Health System Development for AMSURG—the nation’s largest outpatient surgery center company, and Vice President of Marketing at Clearpractice. Smith earned a B.A. in Marketing and Communications from Lipscomb University.
