Rich Jones, President of Alliance HealthCare Radiology (“Alliance Radiology”), recently had the honor of accepting an award from PetNet, Alliance’s FDG provider, to recognize Alliance’s receipt of its one millionth FDG dose. While the award signifies a new milestone for Alliance and PetNet, it underscores the vision that Alliance Radiology has had in bringing PET/CT to the frontline in the battle against cancer. Rich Jones comments, “We recognized early on, the potential for PET/CT as a treatment modality in the early detection of cancer. In 2000, Alliance started with a single mobile PET unit and a handful of dedicated team members. That has expanded exponentially, to the point where we have helped enhance the lives of more than one million patients and their families by providing easy access to this advanced modality.” Today, Alliance Radiology is the largest PET/CT provider in the country. Its nearly 300 PET Technologists treat more than 140,000 patients each year. Alliance team members are focused on delivering exceptional care to each of those patients and are fully committed to bringing their hospital partners and patients the newest and most innovative PET/CT solutions available.
