Paul S. Viviano

Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Paul S. Viviano joined the company in 2003 and serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Viviano’s administrative healthcare background spans more than 30 years. Prior to his role at Alliance, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of USC University Hospital and USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. USC University Hospital is a private research and teaching hospital staffed by 400 full-time faculty members of USC’s renowned Keck School of Medicine. The USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Hospital is part of the Keck School of Medicine and is designated by the National Cancer Institute as one of the nation’s 40 comprehensive cancer centers. For 14 years prior to his executive roles with USC, Mr. Viviano was a member of the St. Joseph Health System, serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for his last six years there. The St. Joseph Health System is a 14-hospital non-profit organization with revenues of $2.1 billion and hospitals in California and Texas. Mr. Viviano began his career as a hospital executive in the Southern California marketplace and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration-Public Health, from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mr. Viviano serves as a member of the Board of Regents of Loyola Marymount University; Chairman of the Association for Quality Imaging; Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cornelia Connelly High School of the Holy Child Jesus; and Director of UCLA Orthopaedic Hospital.

Howard K. Aihara

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Howard K. Aihara has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alliance Imaging since 2005. Mr. Aihara joined Alliance in 2000 as Vice President and Corporate Controller. From 1997 through 2000, he was Vice President, Finance, for UniMed Management Company, a physician practice management company. From 1995 through 1997, he was Executive Director and Corporate Controller for AHI Healthcare Systems, Inc. Mr. Aihara began his career at Ernst and Young, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Michael F. Frisch

President, Imaging Division
Michael F. Frisch was appointed President of the Imaging Division in November 2008. He has been with Alliance since 2002, originally serving as Regional Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic region, then as Senior Vice President of the Southeast region, then as Executive Vice President and COO. From 1999 through October 2002, Mr. Frisch served as Senior Vice President-Regional Operations of American Dental Partners, a dental practice management company.

Richard J. Hall

President, Alliance Oncology
Richard J. Hall joined the company as President of Alliance Oncology in November 2008. Mr. Hall’s extensive healthcare background includes more than 25 years experience in both the public and private sectors, including approximately four years as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for US Oncology, the nation’s largest oncology services provider. Mr. Hall began his career with American Hospital Supply and has also held senior leadership positions with General Medical Corporation, McKesson Corporation, PatientKeeper®, and BrightStar Healthcare®.

Christopher J. Joyce

Executive Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions
Christopher J. Joyce has served as Executive Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions since January 1, 2008. He joined Alliance in October 2004 as an interim Regional Vice President and was appointed Senior Vice President of Business Development in May 2005. Mr. Joyce held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary from February 2006 through February 2007, and then served as Senior Vice President of one of the regions until December 2007. Prior to joining Alliance, Mr. Joyce served as Chief Executive Officer of Medical Resources, Inc., a publicly-traded fixed site imaging center operator with 60 centers in nine states. He joined Medical Resources as its Senior Vice President and General Counsel in May 1998. Mr. Joyce began his career as a corporate associate at the law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher.

Eli H. Glovinsky

Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel
Eli H. Glovinsky joined Alliance in 2007 and presently serves as Executive Vice President, Secretary, and General Counsel. Prior to his role at Alliance, Mr. Glovinsky served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel at Premier Inc., a voluntary alliance of hospitals and health systems representing approximately 1,500 hospitals and 20,000 other healthcare providers. From 1997 to 2003 Mr. Glovinsky served as Premier’s Vice President and Associate General Counsel. Mr. Glovinsky began his career as an Associate at the law firm of Konowieki & Rank.
